Designed and developed a multi-threaded, internet-based, client/server system for gathering and analyzing information from monitoring stations around the world. The core grid engine is built as a Windows service that interacts with the SQL Server database using Linq to SQL and custom stored procedures. The client side is made up of a WPF application and a Windows service that communicates with the grid server via WCF. Designed the database schema and built the data-access layer for MS SQL Server 2008. The DAL is implemented using stored procedures, custom controllers and data providers.

Designing and coding a Web site for e-commerce, back-office automation, end user account management, and general information presentation. This is a full-scale ASP.NET/C# web application. It is designed from the ground up to be easy to grow and maintain using an n-tier object-oriented structure. The web site has an MSSQL data layer based on stored procedures and custom data access abstraction objects to make the application highly scalable. The web application interacts with other servers to implement LDAP and geocoding services. The common interface is implemented as a single object and is reused on all user- and admin-oriented pages.
