  • Designed and developed a multi-threaded, internet-based, client/server system for gathering and analyzing information from monitoring stations around the world. The core grid engine is built as a Windows service that interacts with the SQL Server database using Linq to SQL and custom stored procedures. The client side is made up of a WPF application and a Windows service that communicates with the grid server via WCF. Technologies: Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008, IIS, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Windows services, WCF, WPF, CSS, Linq to SQL, TCP/IP socket communication, Hyper-V, and Telerik components.

  •  Designed the database schema and built the data-access layer for MS SQL Server 2008. The DAL is implemented using stored procedures, custom controllers and data providers.

  • Helped design and build the user interface and business-logic layer in VisualStudio 2010 using c# and the .Net Framework 4.0. To facilitate code reuse and flexibility, all interface items were designed and implemented as user controls and modules.

  • Wrote specifications and managed RFP outsourcing of select modules and controls.

  • Managed servers including configurations for a web farm implementation of their online properties.

Designing and coding a Web site for e-commerce, back-office automation, end user account management, and general information presentation. This is a full-scale ASP.NET/C# web application. It is designed from the ground up to be easy to grow and maintain using an n-tier object-oriented structure. The web site has an MSSQL data layer based on stored procedures and custom data access abstraction objects to make the application highly scalable. The web application interacts with other servers to implement LDAP and geocoding services. The common interface is implemented as a single object and is reused on all user- and admin-oriented pages.
